(3/12/2010)
Denver, CO– March 12, 2010 – Rivet® Software, a Denver-based company pioneering the future of global financial communications, has announced that the company’s CEO, Patrick Quinlan, has been named one of Denver’s “Forty Under 40” by the Denver Business Journal. This prestigious award honors entrepreneurs within the region who have exhibited outstanding business skills and continue to provide untiring levels of service to their communities.
"It is a great honor to be acknowledged as one of Denver's 'Forty Under 40' and to be a part of such an accomplished group of individuals," said Patrick Quinlan.
Patrick has a proven track record of start-up company development, funding strategies and capital investment successes. He thrives in high-risk and deadline-oriented situations with a proven history of positive bottom-line results in both domestic and international markets.
Currently, Patrick serves as the recently appointed CEO of Rivet Software, a leading developer of financial reporting, XBRL-based software. In his previous role as President of the company, he created a sales team that grew monthly revenues that averaged $600K per quarter to more than $600 during the month of December alone, creating the company's highest quarter in its history. When Patrick joined Rivet Software in September of 2009, there were only 28 employees – currently, there are more than 60.
For more than a decade, Patrick has hosted and keynoted at the Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) fellowship program, which offers youth the opportunity to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences. Prior to his promotion from President to CEO at his company, Rivet Software, Patrick implemented an "Adopt-a-Family" program, where the firm raised more than $1,200 in gifts for families in need.
Through his work with Father Woody's Franciscan Friends of the Poor, an organization that provides food, shelter, clothing, counseling, rehabilitation and hygienic services to the homeless, Patrick regularly dedicates his time serving and delivering meals to those most in need. He also participates in the Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis organization, which works to change the world, one child and one community at a time.
All "Forty Under 40" winners will be honored during a special luncheon ceremony on March 18, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Convention Center in Denver. The keynote speaker will be Jamie Van Leeuwen, head of Denver’s Road Home, the city’s ten-year plan to end homelessness in the area. Each winner will also be profiled in a special section in the March 12-18 issue of the Denver Business Journal.
