Rivet Software Awarded SEC Contract for Financial Viewer

SEC Selects Rivet to Help Demonstrate Benefits of Interactive Data

DENVER-September 25, 2006 - Rivet® Software, a leader in interactive business software solutions, today announced that it has been awarded a contract, in partnership with Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS), to create a web-based XBRL® viewing and analysis application for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  Under the contract, Rivet's popular Dragon View™ XBRL viewer will be used as the foundation for a web-based viewing and analytic prototype to help analysts and investors unlock the interactive capabilities of XBRL documents filed under the SEC's Voluntary Filing Program.

Rivet's Dragon View application provides simple yet powerful viewing and analysis functionality without requiring users to have any knowledge of XBRL. The concept of interactive data and XBRL-the XML-based global standard for the electronic communication of business and financial data-has been consistently advanced by SEC Chairman Christopher Cox as the primary means for efficient access, validation and analysis of financial data. Currently, XBRL documents submitted to the SEC under the Voluntary Filing Program are published on the SEC EDGAR public website in their native format, which is difficult to view without XBRL-enabled software. Rivet's viewer prototype will provide the environment necessary to view and analyze interactive documents with ease and efficiency, while masking the complexity sometimes associated with XBRL.

"We are pleased to have been selected to work alongside the SEC and, along with Unisys, will demonstrate how interactive data can dramatically improve distribution and analysis of financial information," said Mike Rohan, president and CEO of Rivet. "This contract is a welcome validation of our focus on creating robust, interactive data applications for business and financial users; it is another key step in demonstrating the extraordinary potential of this new global standard."

Rivet's i-Fi™ Suite of interactive financial applications combines the new server-based Crossfire™ Analyst product with Rivet's popular Dragon Tag® XBRL creation and Dragon View XBRL viewing solutions to provide interactive data support throughout the entire reporting supply chain. Crossfire Analyst is the first business-focused application to deliver a fully scalable solution to easily collect and analyze XBRL data, providing regulators, analysts, investors and corporations with a powerful and flexible solution for interacting with financial and business data.
