Web Software Developer
Join a small, dedicated team of engineers to design and implement desktop and web-delivered software for finance, accounting and other business users. Web Software Developer will be involved in all phases of the software life cycle from specification through testing and release.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with business users in an agile environment to determine requirements and build creative web-delivered commercial applications.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills and ability work independently or closely with others
- Solid object-oriented design skills
- Strong experience with
dynamic web development with CSS, JS, AJAX, and ASP
- Solid UI design skills and experience developing applications for non-technical end-users
Other Helpful Experience
- Experienced with integrated unit testing framework (e.g. nUnit)
- Financial services or enterprise application domain knowledge
- Working knowledge of web services, XML, SOAP, etc.
- Experience in ruby (and rails) development with real applications
- Experience with rich content tools, such as Flash, Flex, Silverlight, AdobeAir
- Proficiency with web design tools such as MS Expression/FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.
- Familiarity with SaaS concepts such as multi-tenant architecture and web-service integration
- Familiarity with SharePoint and content management concepts such as, workflow, publishing, change tracking, etc.
