Contract Software Demonstration Representative

The Contract Software Demonstration Representative is responsible for providing potential clients with a detailed overview of Rivet’s Crossfire Financial Reporting Platform. Duties include working in conjunction with Rivet’s Account Executive team to deliver a sales demonstration of Rivet’s software showcasing it’s functionality and ease of use to potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Demonostration
- Work with the Demo Department Team lead in scheduling times to present demonstrations
- Present sales demos to potential and existing clients on the Crossfire product and tagging for both Compliance and Corporate customers.
- Demo the software’s ability to create templates for financial statements, tagging financial statements with appropriate elements, and block / detailed tagging footnotes.
- Provide potential and existing clients a clear understanding of how the software works and the functionality it provides for publicly traded and privately held companies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- CPA (Active or Inactive) highly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Experience with Public 10Q&10K reporting and/or SEC Edgar filing process is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and how to apply them
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to confidently present to a group of people (demos are done by phone with the use of a web presentation tool)
- Must be able to consistently follow through on presenting demonstrations at scheduled time
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office application
- Must have PC or laptop capable of performing necessary task
- Must have high speed internet, home phone and or cell phone
- Must be able to perform a minimum of 3 demos per week
Training Provided:
- Week 1 consists of detailed training around Rivet’s financial reporting software, SEC guidelines, Tagging, Template creation, EDGAR guidelines, and block / detailed footnotes. Training will be held for 5 hours each day for 5 business days.
- Week 2 will present 5 supervised and assisted demos to apply what was learned in Week 1.
Compensation Plan:
- Week 1 training pay $250
- Week 2 pay – will present 5 supervised software demos $175
- Contractor will be paid at a "per demo given" rate thereafter. There is an opportunity for the per demo rate to be increased as the demonstrator becomes more skilled in the role.
