Software Engineer – Business Technology
Rivet Software is looking for a software engineer to assist the development and implementation of standard-based data integration solutions and troubleshoot data integration issues encountered by customers. This position will work closely with customers, Professional Services and IT to identify and resolve the issues in a timely manner and document solutions for future reference. The software engineer will report to the senior software engineer in the business technology department.
Duties:
- Work with customers, Professional services, and IT to resolve and identify and fix data integration issues reported by customers
- Debug existing Data Adapters and fix defects
- Develop and Test new data adapters under the guidance of the senior software engineer
- Write supporting documentation (installation guide, mapping documents) for new Data Adapters
- Work with Professional Services and Customers to deploy and configure new Data Adapters
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1-4 years developing .NET applications using C#
- Experience developing unit and integration tests using NUnit or MSTest
- Solid object-oriented design skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete assigned tasks
- Comfortable working with people in many different roles, including IT, QA, Product Management, and Customers
Required Competencies: C#, SQL, WCF, LINQ
