CrossView shares the same rendering engine created for the SEC

CrossView is a web-based, online SEC interactive report navigation, viewing and analysis tool that delivers on the promise of XBRL to deliver standardized and transparent financial information directly to investors and analysts. By using the Crossfire Financial Reporting Platform repository to store SEC filings as the SEC publishes them, CrossView will quickly grow to become an indispensable information resource for all financial information consumers.

CrossView enhances what is already publicly available on the SEC website and implemented the same report rendering engine as SEC (created by Rivet in December 2008). Furthermore, CrossView adds significant value over and above the current SEC report viewer and RSS report feed. The initial release of CrossView supports viewing report submissions from all SEC corporate filers in a real-time, intuitive and user-friendly online application. Rivet will expand CrossView to display Mutual Fund filings in 2011.

CrossView is a great way to get familiar with the financial information ecosystem that the SEC is building by means of the XBRL filing initiative. Using CrossView gives you a glimpse into the kind of transparency that is possible when you have a wealth of standardized financial information that is easy to find, view and manage online.

Join us for a Free Live Webinar! Rivet understands how the world of XBRL might be intimidating at first glance, and we want to invite you to see just how our solution packages (solution packages that combine software products and professional services) can make XBRL/compliance easy. Our Professional Services team members are accountants and CPAs that have mastered XBRL and will work with you to find the solution that is just right for your company's current and future needs.

CrossView Key Features

CrossView makes it easy to locate a corporate filer, select a report submission pack such as a quarterly filing and pick a specific report to view. Multiple reports from different filers can be viewed simultaneously under their own tabs and the latest 20 report filings are highlighted in a separate panel with one-click viewing. A toolbar provides quick access to a range of report management functions including viewing extended elements in the reports, view summary filer and filing data, printing and charting the report, and exporting reports to Excel for offline analysis.

Find CrossView makes it easy to navigate the financial ecosystem of SEC filers so you can quickly find the report you are looking for. Instead of searching thru all filings on SEC.GOV to find the company/filing you are looking for, CrossView has created an easy to use navigator.
View CrossView makes it easy to view individual reports in a filing submission and switch between reports from multiple filing companies.
Manage Once you have found and are viewing the report you want to analyze, CrossView lets you manage the reports using a one-click toolbar.

Within CrossView, you can also subscribe to RSS Feeds to be notified when new filings from SEC become available. If you are only interested in available filing for certain companies, you can also subscribe to RSS Feeds on a company level.
