Director of Professional Services
Job Purpose:
Rivet Software is seeking a dynamic individual to build and lead a services delivery team of 10-20 project managers, technical consultants, trainers and service desk personnel located in our Denver, CO office. Rivet Software is currently going through a period of rapid growth and is in need of a professional services team to serve our customers. Following the widespread success of CrossFire, our compliance management SaaS application, Rivet is now deploying an onsite solution for our leading customers to integrate with their in house ERP and financial reporting suites.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building successful professional services organizations in fast paced and dynamic companies. The candidate needs to have strong interpersonal skills, great customer presence and the ability to drive a team to meet challenging deadlines while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties:
- Build on the current Professional Services organization to support Rivet’s customers, including application implementation, ongoing client support and professional development / training
- Work in conjunction with the sales organization in support of the sales process. Demonstrate technical excellence to reassure prospects of the ease of implementation
- Deliver exceptional value to clients with rapid and successful implementations of Rivet's applications
- Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the lifecycle of the implementation and during their continuing use of the product
- Develop a knowledge base of system integration policies, procedures, standards and templates
- Develop a quality assurance program to oversee and monitor all client engagements
- Develop a first class training organization to provide education support to both internal and external users of the products
- Implement a customer service desk to provide a first point of call for all customers (internal and external) of the Rivet products and services
- Manage the department finances, operating within the budget constraints defined
- Lead a team of the very best talent in the marketplace
Requirements:
- 15+ years in the technology sector, preferably within software development or systems integration
- 10+ years in technology consulting, preferably with a national consulting organization
- Strong project and financial management background
- Demonstrated ability to build high performance teams
- Demonstrated experience building a service organization
- Expert in systems integration, demonstrated history of successful application implementations at client sites
- Expert in developing client engagement and systems implementation policies, standards and procedures
- Expert in recruiting, and developing high caliber staff
- Experience in account and customer management
- Experience managing a team of consultants, from staff utilization and assignment management, to staff personal development, training and career management
- Knowledge of a variety of ERP and financial reporting suites, preferably Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Cognos
- Knowledge of current technology best practices, specifically in web services and application integration
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
